The HDC-180 is a fully featured, full HD, remote camera with all the Bradley features of usability, connectivity and control. Slightly larger than the HD_160, to incorporate the 18x zoom lens and the addition of genlock. It is fully compatible with any Bradley system usig the same power and RS485 data. The RS485 data can be sent up to 1km over a balanced audio cable or CAT5.
With the longer zoom lens, the mechanics are upgraded. The chassis and mechanics are the same as the CamBall series for smooth, on-shot moves even at the tight end of the lens. All the inputs and outputs are directly on the base of the unit.
The camera accepts 46mm lens converters and all functions are controlled remotely via a simple protocol.
Slipping clutches are fitted to both axes to protect the motors and gearboxes. Unlike many competitors, these clutches prevent damage whilst rigging and during operation. It can be mounted either way up. When mounted inverted, the picture can also be inverted from the control panel.
Both 50Hz and 60Hz frame rates are supported, as well as interlaced or progressive outputs. All camera CCU functions can be remotely controlled via our Remote Camera Panel Mk3. The low light infrared mode is also activated remotely. The CCU control on a small camera is unmatched, with both black and white level control. Two Remote Camera Panels (RCP) are available which can control up to 4, 8 or 99 cameras on a system.
RCPs can be connected directly to the camera or via a pan/tilt joystick. When routed via a pan/tilt joystick, the CCU data is multiplexed with the pan, tilt, zoom and focus data. Each camera can be set to its own ident: 1-99.
